Basic groundwork on the Flak vignette

Some basic groundwork to accomodate the Flak.

Cosy corner.

Picknick anyone ?

No rather not :

Not enough air to breath !

88 Flak PE Gun Shield

By finishing the Flak shield, the work on the gun came to an end.

It's a photo-etched Aber replacement part.

This is what the Flak looks like, kind of snapped together, I wanted to keep the sub-assemblies to ease the paint job.

On a wooden base with an Alpine Miniatures 'German Officer' who happened to pass by.

The background is one of my more artistic creations !

Behelfslafette and more work on the Flak

Almost finished the Flak 88. I think the Behelfslafettte looks really ugly when you compare it to the gun itself ! Something Sci - Fi: a spaceship maybe ? Not the finest example of German WW2 engineering !

BMW R75

Lion Roar's splendid 1/35 BMW R75 with sidecar.

Finally finished the paint job. The motorcycle will also feature on the 'Caen Cauldron' diorama.

Panzerschütze -- Schwere SS Pz Abt 101-- Normandie 06/1944

Using a pedestal that has been wandering around my hobby room for years I finally managed to end this project.

The camouflaged coveralls are finished using Vallejo Arcylics.

The ammo crate and empty shell are some wonderful items made by Eureka XXL, a polish company.

For the groundwork I used grass from the excellent  Green Line range by Fredericus-Rex.
