On Sculpting Miniatures in 1/35

Dying Panzergrenadier
Update on sculpting the 'unfortunate one'.

This sturdy chap has had a blow to the face; seems he will not make it through the day !
He sports a type two waffen ss camouflage smock, luger holster and map case, I think I will give him the rank of Unterscharfuhrer. Note the WW2 German hairstyle !!!

Merry Christmas.

Le Mesnil - Patry

I'm trying to recreate a close combat scene taking place just outside the town of Le Mesnil - Patry when tanks of the Canadian Army  ran head on into the German defensive lines in Normandy a few days after D-Day.

And at last two of the miniatures I commenced sculpting back in August are coming to the closing stage.

A few small details on the Canadian and some hands on the German to go .
